Blood Blister on Penis Shaft

Hello,
In the past few months I have noticed a small growth on the bottom of my penis shaft.  It appeared as if a black sesame seed was just underneath the skin. Now 3 or 4 months later, it grew to the size of a small pea (pretty small, but noticeable).  I was thinking it was some sort of growth or even an ingrown hair (pilonidal cyst or something).  It was not painful at all.
I have been sexually active so I'm worried what it might be.  At the moment I don't have health insurance so I took matters into my own hands. I got a scalpel, alcohol and some gauze and proceeded to attend to it on my own. I squeezed the growth and made a small incision underneath it.  I was expecting something solid to pop out.  But it ejected some blood and vanished without a trace.   Worrying about infection, I swabbed it with alcohol and taped some gauze around it.
So, apparently it was some sort of blood blister.  I just don't know what it was from and if I should be worried or not.
Can you help?

Thanks!

Another online source said this could be hemangioma.
Although the photos I've seen on line for hemangioma don't look like what I have.
But perhaps it is a varicose/spider vein.

I guess there's no getting back to normal for this!
I'm worried females will be concerned about it, thinking it might be an STD.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
It can be small varicose vein or spider vein of penis and you should not attempt opening it with sharp objects. The varicose vein on the penis does not require any treatment. It may bruise during sexual intercourse and thus wearing of a condom is highly recommended. Also use of lubricants is recommended during masturbation or during sexual intercourse to avoid bruising the vein.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.

perhaps I shouldn't call it a blood blister.  More like some kind of vein/tract.  Seems like the blood keeps storing up in this little deposit.  What is this?  How do I help it?
