Blood Blister on Scrotum

by capepismo, Aug 15, 2001 12:00AM
My boyfriend has what appears to be a blood blister about the size of a pencil eraser on his scrotum.  It doesn't bother him. He has had it about 5 years.  The other morning he woke up and it had bleed a little.  He is embarrased to call the doctor.  Have you heard of this?  Is it some sort of cyst?  It does not itch or even bother him except it is there.  I am worried.
Please help.

Men get collections of blood on the scrotum called angiofibromas.  They don't mean anything and generally we don't do anything about them.

Men don't go to doctors much, whether they're embarrassed or not . . .

Best.
