Blotchy Skin in Upper Arm

by dml27, Jan 28, 2008 02:19PM
I am wondering if anyone can give some insight as to why, over the past 6 months, the pigmentation of my skin in my upper arms would change?  I am fair skinned (with a red hue) but lately the skin around my upper arms seems to be redder, blotchy, with some darker purplish areas - almost as if someone was squeezing the blood supply out of my arms.  There is no pain, no sensitivity, no loss of movement - but there is an increase of having my lower arms "fall asleep" at night - maybe once or twice a week.
