Blue spot on lip

I have a small blue spot on my bottom lip.  There is no bump and is not swollen or anything.  It has been there for a while... before I can remember.  I do not bite my lips.

How old are you? This could be a venous lake. This is an asymptomatic, harmless, generally solitary, soft, compressible, dark blue to violaceous papule commonly found on sun-exposed surfaces of the lip, face and ears. Lesions generally occur among the elderly and the cause is thought to be associated with sun exposure, leading to a dilated blood-filled vascular channel.
