How old are you? This could be a venous lake. This is an asymptomatic, harmless, generally solitary, soft, compressible, dark blue to violaceous papule commonly found on sun-exposed surfaces of the lip, face and ears. Lesions generally occur among the elderly and the cause is thought to be associated with sun exposure, leading to a dilated blood-filled vascular channel.
If this bothers you, lesions can be treated with surgical excision, laser therapy, infrared coagulation, cryotherapy, and sclerotherapy. You can read more about th is through this link: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Venous_lake
