Body Piercing

Please could you tell me about the dangers of navel piercing? I have looked on the internet at lots of different sites, but some people have said its too risky. I want to be sure that I am not in danger if I get it done.
Also do you know if I can get my ears pierced again right over the top of the original piercings which have closed up.

Navel piercing is not very risky if it's done in a hygienic manner.  Some people get drainage or scarring in the area, and sometimes they have to take out the ring (the same happens with earrings sometimes.)  Yes, you can get your ears re-pierced.
