Cyst and have chosen to just live with it for awhile till I can get it surgically removed. I'm a bodybuilder and am currently training for a competition and can't afford to take time off for the surgery right now. The cyst does not bother me and drains on occasion. I have lived with the cyst for about 2 years with no pain and mild drainage. However, about 6 weeks ago a boil like bump appeared. It ruptured and drained but never really healed. Occasionally it becomes inflamed if irritated but otherwise it just looks like a very small pocket of skin I can only describe as looking like deflated balloon. I'm afraid that this might be a cancer but I don't know. Other then taking off work and seeing my doctor, is there any way to tell if it is cancer. It has not gotten bigger or smaller in 6 weeks. I've heard these boil like bumps are common
