My husband has bumps on his back. They look like pictures that I have seen of boils. Red and slightly raised above the skin. He has had these for more than 10 years now. If started as on bump that looked like a pimple and has continued to havin many across his back. We went to a dermatologist and her opinion was that they were keloids. She gave him a prescription for a round of antibotics. This was to no avail. We returned and she just said all she could do was give him more antibotics. Can you get boils that do not go away? What can be done? I'm trying to understand more about boils and see if they can remain permanate for more than 10 years of if they should have gone away by now.
