Bothersome itchy bumps on skin

I am getting those tiny pink bumps (sometimes fluid filled) on my skin..they seem to appear more frequent on the inner arm, thigh and back of leg - they itch like hell. I find the itching is more intense at nights and seem to flare up during the pre and menstrual periods...

The bumps shed and heal within a day or two and leaves a brownish mark on the skin.

This is such a bothersome irritation - I have seen my dermatoligist and she thinks it may be either grovers disease or progesterone dermatitis.

Can anyone please help - I am desperate. Thank you

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
For these symptoms, even scabies should be ruled out. It is characterized by intense itching, usually at night and by small insect-type bites lesions on the skin. Diagnosis of scabies is made by scraping the skin and viewing the material under a microscope to see the characteristic mite or eggs.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
