Brachioradial Pruritus

I believe I have Brachioradial Pruritus. My question is can I have this diorder if I'm only itchy some of the time? I find that I have extreme itching in the Fall. I always assumed I had this itch due to stress. September thru December are very slow months for my business and this is when I am itchy. Only on my arms.

Hi there,  I am pretty sure I have this as well,  it comes and goes and I can,t determine when it will strike.
I found the site for this on here,  and wanted to add my opinion.
There are 2 things which will help immensly.
1           Chiropractor or Oestopath realigning disks C4 - C6 on neck.
2            ZOSTRIX cream.  which tricks the nerve endings with heat.  You
may feel some heat but nothing extreme,  also it may take a few
to work,  but persevere and use 3-5 times a day.
Hope this helps
regards Louise

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
Yes it can be brachioradial pruritis. If there is any red dry rash then eczema is another possibility because eczema is often precipitated in these months. Consult a dermatologist so that the diagnosis can be confirmed. If it is brachioradial rpuritis then treatments include cooling lotions like those containing camphor or menthol, capsacain or local anesthetic creams, amitriptyline and gabapentin tablets and electrical cutaneous nerve field stimulation.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
