My daughter woke up this morning with sveral very
brightBright beginnings yellowYellow fever vaccine
Yellow nail syndrome spotsBirthmarks - pigmented
Liver spots
Measles, koplik spots - close-up
Mongolian blue spots on her arms. They looked like
yellowYellow fever vaccine
Yellow nail syndrome accent marks from a
yellowYellow fever vaccine
Yellow nail syndrome marker but they were not.

Yellow nail syndrome spots you describe. Peculiar pigmentation usually reflects exposure to external dyes of some kind. You were on the right track to think of magic marker. If that doesn't work, perhaps further thought may reveal the source of the color. If nothing obvious comes to mind, or if the spots proliferate or change, you ought to take your daughter to her doctor.
