Pulsed Dye LASER has been found to be useful in reducing vascular lesions. I suggest that you ask your dermatologist about this. This may be more expensive but the results may be more evident after the course of therapy.

Over the counter products do not seem to offer effective long term treatment for vascular lesions. When you say broken capillaries over the face, I would assume that you meant telangiectasias. These are fine vessels evident on the face and extremities.This may be associated with diseases like rosacea.
