Brown, Iodine like stains on hands

I see a lot of people on here have woken up syffering with these stained hands, im wondering if its bedbugs!!! Ive got the stains on my palms, but have bites too, and noticed a dead 'bug' on my bed this morning. So has anyone who has reported these symotoms, had bedbugs? Looking into it, thier faeces is a reddish/brown colour, makes sense.

I'm not sure how to put a picture on to the forum with your question, but what you can do is load one up into your picture folder in your profile page.

Did the doctor or the specialist give you any advice?

Do these stains itch or burn?
If so, I am surprised you were not prescribed with an antihistamine or a antibacterial cream to apply to your skin.

For the future, as a precaution, you will need to cover all exposed parts of your body to avoid any bug biting you.  Where wild deer roam, it is always a risk of getting a tick bite.  Bites from an infected tick can cause Lyme Disease.

Went to docs, she said she had seen nothing like it before, but did nothing, also, had a specialist out, not bedbugs, but australian spider beetles, and the bites, which have stopped, came from me walking in woodland, i aint been for 2 weeks, and had no bites. God knows about the stains, dunno how to upload a pic on here

Then you need to book an appointment and find out from the doctor what it is.

Bites can be from any bug and also from scabies, but your hands would have white trail marks and the skin would itch as they burrow underneath the skin.

Follow the advice with regard cleaning as I mentioned in my previous post
to help with eliminating any hidden bugs.  They can hide in crevices, greases, carpets, books, soft toys, woollen fabrics.

Have you been touching or peeling any vegetables that have a high colour - like carrots, red onions, beetroot?

Have you touched any hair colorants or dyes?

Some dyes take a long time to get out of the skin.

Make an appointment as see your doctor.

Let me know what the doctor diagnoses and what he suggests.

Best wishes.

Makes no sense at all!

If you are talking about the brown spots that appear on top of our hand, this is normal.  As people get older these brown spots appear.  To help avoid getting them, keep your hands covered from the sun and moisturised.

Regarding the bug bites and the bed bugs, you need to clean and vacuum in every crevice in the walls, floor, bed.  These are the hiding places where these bugs hide.

Wash your bedding and pillow case on the hottest wash that you have.  Wash your pillow as per the directions on the label.

Keep clothes off the floor, empty all your wardrobe and drawers and clean them.  Keep soft toys and books away from your bedroom.  Soft toys can be put into a plastic bag and put into the freezer for a day or so to kill of bugs if you are not able to wash them.
