Brown patch

I was born with a brown pigmentation, which my parents assumed was a birthmark on my upper left leg. When I was a kid, it was smoothe with no bumps. I'm 23 now, and have a couple of bumps on it, is this something serious? What;s wrong?  would there be any way I can get this removed without surgery, I hate surgeries.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
It may just be irritated hair follicles but it is always better to get it checked from a dermatologist because as a thumb rule, if you notice changes in the mark’s color, height, size or shape, you should have a dermatologist evaluate it. You also should have it checked if it bleeds, oozes, itches, appear scaly, or become tender or painful.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
