Brown patches of skin on ankle/feet?

Hi I just noticed this recently. I don't know how long it has been here.

Basically, my ankle and the area near it (outer part) has some brown patches of skin. It does not itch or hurt. I cannot tell if the patches are rather dry or thick skinned or not.

I am a 22-year old Asian. For the past year I've been walking for at least 40 mins to work. I rarely wear socks and I usually just wear shoes right away.

I don't know if this is just friction or trauma brought about my shoes.

Attached are photos of my two feet. I don't know if the brown patches are more or less symmetrical on the two feet? The one one the right feet appears a bit darker than the left one though.

I am planning to visit a doctor's clinic next week, but as a hypochondriac, I could use some advise that might help me get through the wait. :(

Possibly Schamberg's and should be no problem. Do consult your Doc.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
These brown spots can be due to hyperpigmentation or venous stasis.
Stasis dermatitis effects the lower limbs mostly. It is mostly from vascular problems in the lower limbs. I would suggest you to get it evaluated from a dermatologist and get the diagnosis confirmed.
It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your dermatologist. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
