Brown stain on palms of hands

I am a female 46 years old.Last night I noticed some brown stain pigmentation on my left palm and fingers.  When I woke up it was also on my right palm.It fades a bit then comes back . This has been a recent occurance.  I am fair skinned.  What can this be symtimatic of?

Pigmenation of sudden onset on the palms almost surely has to be soemthing from the outside, something you touched or handled.  I know of no systemic or internal diseases which can cause that kind of problem.  Think about what you've been doing, and wait a few days --  the pigment is bound to slough off.

If you still have it in a months' time, have someone check it out for you.  But I doubt you'll have to.
