. This has happened to me 2 other times in the past month... All have appeared in the morning.
At first, I thought that it could perhaps be my acne medication from the night before, but it that we so, my whole face
, nor does it hurt.
I have not 100% ruled out the possibility that I could have touched something the night before, BUT I really do not think that is the issue at hand
(located right next to eachother) are showing signs this discoloration.
Lastly, I tried rubbing it off with soup and a scrub for literally 5 consecutive minutes (in the shower) and it wouldn't come off at all, so I proceeded my other shower activites and by the end of my shower it had come off a little bit more- either has to do with time, or soaking it with water. I can speculate all day.
I am a little concerned. Can someone, perhaps an MD help me out? Thanks.
Hello,
Since the brownish discoloration has been coming off, it looks like a temporary skin condition. Keep an eye on the materials you come in contact with as they may also cause staining of the fingers. I suggest you to get it examined from a dermatologist also to confirm the diagnosis.
It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your dermatologist. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
I too have brown tannish discoloration to my right hand I don't know if it's from the retinol I've been using on my face or something else. I think I'll stop using it for awhile and see if it helps. I'm using ROC products
