Bruise/chafing on penis.

When I first started masturbating, I did it regularly, and a lot. However, After a while, I noticed a circular bruise around the penis shaft were my Pointer finger and thumb were. After this I slowed down, and now I masturbate maybe 2 times a month at most, and for the most part its usually because something got me going. The bruise however, hasn't seemed to go away at all.

There is no pain or anything associated with it, its just really embarrassing, and I am ashamed of it. Is there anything to speed up it's recovery?

This could be due to trauma which could have caused breakage of capillaries lying just below the surface. Do not cause any further injury till the lesion has healed, which should take about 5-7 days. The discoloration may persist for a fortnight and change colors as the haemoglobin pigment undergoes changes.

Apply warm compresses, Neosporin ointment and calamine lotion and avoid messing with it. You  can take anti-inflammatory pain killers like ibuprofen or acetaminophen. If the spot persists then it will be best to get it evaluated from a dermatologist.
