Bruise

I have a mark on my arm that looks like a bruise. I dont have any pain, and I havent hurt this arm. What is it, and what can I do to get rid of it?

From the picture it looks like a bruise. You may have unknowingly hurt the area causing this bruise. The blood under the skin which causes the discoloration of bruising should be totally reabsorbed by the body in three weeks or less. No other skin condition like hyperpigmentation appears so suddenly.
If it persists then please get it examined from a dermatologist. It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided.
