Bruising from Poison Ivy

I have been told that bruising can occur from having poison ivy.  This bruise is about 3 cm in diameter and no broken skin, and no poison ivy on it.  I have only had experience with poison ivy seeping and just getting itchy, and no bruising.  I would like to have an answer as soon as possible.

I have bruising and poison ivy too.  Most of the bruises surround the poison ivy except in oen area and all are on my left leg even though i have plenty of posion ivy every where else.  My Nurse Practitioner didn't seem concerned, but if they don't go away in another day or so I'm goin back.
