Bruising to hives

I've honestly never heard of bruising to hives either, but I have it right now. The hives are only around the bruises and no where else. I got these huge bruises a week ago.
I specifically remember how I got the smaller one. I ran into the corner of a lab table in school. Those tables are extremely thick for our sake. But in this case, no. The bigger one on my wrist is a mystery. I don't remember how I got it.
Unfortunately, both the bruises have lumps. This is not the first time I've gotten a bruise like that since I bruise like a summer peach. But this time is different.

I assume I have serious blood clots in my bruises but I never would have thought it would break out in hives. I would appreciate it if I knew what is happening with my immune system right now.

From the symptoms since the bruises have turned into lumps, it can be due to hematoma formation. A hematoma is formed because of blood trapped in tissues. Hives are mostly idiopathic and can be accompanied by coexistent physical urticaria, triggered by environmental exposure to heat, cold, sunlight, vibration, pressure on the skin or even exercise.

Apply warm compresses on the hematoma and take some oral antihistaminic for itching. you can also apply some anti itch lotion like Sarna lotion. If the symptoms persist then please get it seen from a dermatologist.
