Bug bites for 5 months?

Just after arriving in Nanjing (China), I was bitten all over my feet after a massive rainstorm in late summer. It's been five months since then, and my feet are still covered in these large bug bites. Thinking it was some kind of parasitic bug, I covered the bites with clear nailvarnish in an attempt to kill anything under my skin.

It didn't work.

Now, after having continuously disinfected them, cut them open, bathed them in vinegar or covered them in baking soda, they still continue to itch to the point that when I wake up my feet (which had socks on them) are bloody from unconscious scratching.
Does anyone have any idea how I can get rid of these terrible lumps? It's driving me insane, any help more than welcome!
