Please Help me Please (I have not had a good night sleep in soooo long due to bugs jumping all over me but I can't see them.

Each night or even when I am sitting on the bed or any where mostly at night I feel there are bugs jumping one me I have no idea what they are. Most nights I would wake up from the middle of my sleep due to this problem. I know what Bed bugs are but these things are not cuz I don't see any visible bit marks. I been very stressed and itch much mostly at night when I try to sleep. I honestly don't know if it's only in my head or they are there but I just can't see them but I do feel them when they jump to a spot on my body. I been telling family this problem over and over but I think they look at me funny or believe it's in my head. I am not sure what to do anymore can't rest and even when I am tired I don't feel like going to sleep cuz I know it will be uncomfortable. I do not take any drugs or drink. Please someone help me for once I been having this problem for over 1 yr now. I even moved but the problem is still here. Please help me.

I have the very same issue. Funny thing is that for me it comes on in the evening only. Around dusk I slowly start to feel like things are crawling on my skin, especially gathering around my eyes. I feel very quick little biting or stinging sensations all over my body. By 9 or 10 pm, I'm just itching all over and feel covered by them. I've placed bedbug detectors under my furniture and mattress, but nothing has appeared in them. I've been drying my clothes over and over on very high heat, but this doesn't seem to stop the condition. Right now, my face feels covered by "them" and my ears feel like there's something inside them. What worse is that sometimes while I'm teaching, I see little bugs flying around me. Please help. Please. John in LA, CA.

I know its true . Scalp , ears , & they ate my thumbnail and now the other thumbnail started . My nail is invaded at the tip and its now in 2 layers lengthwise . U can see the hole where they bored in . I clipped my nail back and theres a round, brown rimmed circle at the top into my thumb . I've been afraid to go.to the doctor because you know they will think I am a nut job .

The doctors I went to see told me that I was delusional. I'm going to tell you not to listen to them. These things are real. This is what I've done that have helped me tremendously and maybe they might help you as well. I went to the dollar store and bought a bunch of plastics sheeting so I could wrap my mattress every week. I started either steam ironing or boiling my clothes, sheets and towels. I started bathing in a mixture of Dr. Bronners peppermint soap, borax and ammonia (I bought ammonia at dollar store also). In order to save money, just buy one bottle of ammonia from dollar store, pour into a plastic or rubber container (big enough to soak you feet) that I also bought from the dollar store. You should find that your itching and crawling sensation calms down immediately. Don't waste a lot of money on stuff people say has helped them. Just get a little for as cheap as you can find until you find something that works for you. Oh, Please do the ammonia thing outside or add the borax to help eliminate the noxious fumes that the ammonia puts out. I still have the occasional crawling and biting sensation on my feet, but that's all. I don't have a complete cure but this should give you enough relief to sleep through the night. Best wishes.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
From the symptoms it can be scabies or neurodermatitis. Neurodermatitis develops when nerve endings in the skin become irritated, triggering a severe itch-scratch-itch cycle. Common causes of nerve irritation include an insect bite and emotional stress. I suggest you to get an examination done from a dermatologist.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
