Bump above upper lip

I have a pinkish small bump above my upper lip. It has been there for a couple weeks now and I'm becoming concerned. I came on here for some suggestions on what it could be only because I have a couple more weeks for my insurance to begin and by that time if I still have this issue I will definitely have it looked at by a professional but in the meantime I'll just take advice...
It's a small pinkish bump that was white and a lot smaller until i tried to pop it thinking that it was a pimple... then it grew, hardened and changed color from white to pink. It may just be healing but it's not going away or scabbing anymore. It doesn't hurt or bleed and only bothersome because i know it's visible and doesn't belong on my face! When i tried to pop it thinking it was a pimple it oozed out some white stuff but I must have overdone it seeing as how i couldn't get all of it out then it scabbed and now (since I'm pretty sure it's close to fully healed) it is just bigger and a little pinker. I'm extremely self concious of it even though it's probably not as noticable as i feel like it is... any suggestions on what it could possibly be?!? Thank you for your time!

guys, I have a big white pimple or not a pimple above the upper lip. I cant pop it out but its so big and white everyone can see it so how do I get rid of it?

i get them often. the best thing is crush up some aspirin ( make it into a paste ) then put it on it , when it starts to crumble take a warm rag and rise it off. by that time alot of liquid should have rosin to the top of the bump . gently pop it and apply tea tree oil to it , the tea tree oil will cry it out , keeeeepppp applying the tea tree oil until the bump is totally dryed up.

The other day a bunch of stuff came out of it and I thought that there was hope that it was a pimple but it just filled up again and grew. Yesterday I washed my face without applying any moisturizer to the lesion and this morning it looked a little bit smaller than yesterday.. hopefully it keeps up..

Hi,

Perioral dermatitis is a common facial skin problem in adult women wherein groups of itchy or tender small red papules appear most often around the mouth, chin, cheeks or nose. The surrounding skin may be pink, and the skin surface often becomes dry and flaky.  The exact cause is not understood but this could be induced by: face creams, moisturisers, cream cleansers, make-up foundation and sunscreens  as well as topical steroid creams or ointments.

Are there other signs or symptoms present? If it persists, it would be best to have it evaluated by your doctor. Wash the face with warm water alone and keep the area clean and dry. A course of oral antibiotics for six to twelve weeks may be prescribed. Perioral dermatitis may recur when the antibiotics are discontinued, or at a later date. However, the same treatment can be used again. Try to avoid manipulating the lesion to prevent secondary infection.
