Bump on Nose After Tanning Bed

A week ago I laid in a tanning bed for 10 minutes. I grew very hot in the bed. It did include a facial tanner, which I hadn't used in a while. Immediately upon getting out of the bed, I looked in the mirror and suddenly noticed a small circular, slightly pink, raised spot on the left tip of my nose. A week later I still have the spot, but it isn't as pink. It has never hurt or itched. Now the weird part is, I had this EXACT same reaction on the same spot of my nose last year when I first started tanning. Eventually it went away, and obviously it has now come back. Does anyone with a medical background have any idea what is happening? PS: I am no longer tanning,

Hi Marie and sorry your going through this. We cant diagose here and especially if its melanoma so please dont worry you have this.
My experience with tanning beds is that the nose it the high part on the body and tanning mechanism can actually burn the skin. The tip of the nose is very sensitive an may have gotton burned slightly at one time. It would be prone to burning again as the tissue is now disrupted.
With all skin abnormalities it would be good to get a doctors opinion just to make sure your in good health.
