Bump on Penis Problem

by Jack2727, Aug 10, 2004 12:00AM

I have this bump that keeps appearing on the underside of my penis. It is very small and white and you have to stretch back the skin on the penis to actually see it.  It appears to show up on a vein.  Always just one and always in the same place. There is no pain with it but I do realize when it is there.  When it comes I get real nervous about it and I get headaches. The bump seems to come when I have been doing a lot of sweaty activity or after masturbating too much.  Sometimes it will disappear in a day or two (without any scaring, just seems to disappear). I have actually tried to pop it which wasn't easy but when I did a very tiny piece of hard whitish solid piece came out.  Sorry that is a bit vaque but it is hard to explain... not liquid like in any way.  I have only had one sexual partner and we always used protection during sex (not oral) and we were both virgins at the time.  I had had a STD test done around the time these came up and the test came back negative.  But I wonder if that was a mistake or if this could be herpes which I don't think I tested for... Please help me!

OK.  I think you have a cyst, which is normal on the penis and looks and acts exactly as you describe.  If you squeeze cysts you can sometimes get the whitish contents inside.

I advise you to not worry, to leave the spot alone, and to show it to a physician the next time you have an appointment.

Take care.
