Bump on Penis

About a month and a half ago I had protected sex with a girl that I did not know to well.  During the sex the condom broke, and although I noticed pretty quickly we still had protected sex for about a minute.  So obviously we didn't have protected sex.  About a month later I noticed one red bump on my penis that I decided to try to pop.  It did and a white puss came out similar to that of a zit.  About 2-3 days later it seemed to have more puss so I popped it again.  Same result.  Since then I have done countless hours of research on STD's and have become paranoid and filled with anxiety.  Since this time I have noticed symptoms similar to a few STD's, but my main concern is Herpes.  I have had some tingling and pains all over my body including my legs and butt.  Basically the more I look the more symptoms I notice and so on.  I have also noticed any little skin irritation anywhere on my body.  Obviously I am driving myself nuts.  I am awaiting an HIV test and then will proceed to other STD tests, but I wanted to get your opinion on the bump.  I have calmed down a little and the pains are pretty much gone.  The bump is now just a red mark that I have constantly picked at so this couldn't possibly help the healing.  Any thoughts would be appreciated.  Also what could a a bunch of little brown spots underneath and at the base of my penis be?  I noticed them today, but have never really checked myself out so well before.  Thanks Dr.

I think you don't have herpes, which produces clusters of blisters, not a single bump.  I think the various symptoms you have indicate not herpes but anxiety.  To get a proper read on the bump, the brown spots, or any other penile anatomical concerns, I recommend that you leave the penis alone so as not to confuse the issue, and to see a doctor for proper diagnosis and counseling.

But it does sound as though you're OK.

Thanks Doctor, I have tested negative for HIV, and am waiting for the results of my other STD tests.  The only thing that continues to bother me is the fact that there is a lot of irritation on my penis, and appears to be a rash.  I guess picking at it, squeezing, and applying a lot of different topical creams can't help.  Irritation aside, what else could the bump and the rash be?  I am saying my prayers.  Thanks.
