MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
One of the possibilities that is coming to my mind is of a myxoid cyst. A myxoid cyst is a soft nodule and usually occurs near the end of the fingers or toes.
Treatment is required when they are painful and consists of cortisone injections, liquid nitrogen and surgery(for large ones).I sincerely suggest you to discuss this possibility with a dermatologist. If the bumps are painful, then the possibility of herpetic whitlow has to be ruled out.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
