Bump on my bum

Hello, I've developed two small black bumps on my buttocks and I wonder if they could be signs of skin cancer.
I am a 20 year old male with no history of skin cancer in the family.

I haven't had the time to go to a doctor but this developped into a sort of really itchy rash.

I would agree with an exam, but to be honest I would really doubt anything nasty :) it would be EXTREMELY rare to get skin cancer on the buttocks and it looks more like a wart of sorts? still a trip to the doctor cant hurt :) Interested to know how you get on

Hello,

Without examination, dermatoscopy and investigations, it is very difficult to say whether it is malignant (cancerous). You should get it checked from a dermatologist since it has been present for quite some time.

I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and regards.

It is not painful and I had them for half a year. May I inquire on what you mean by a malignant skin growth? Does that mean there's a possibility (though less likely) that it can be a cancerous growth?
I did have HPV for awhile on my hands and feet. I got rid of them with off the counter freeze kits.
The growth feels like it protrudes deeper in the skin and is not only located on the surface of the skin.

Hello,
From the symptoms, it can be cysts, benign or malignant skin growths (less likely) or warts(caused by HPV infection). If it is painful then boils and ingrown hair can be thought of.

Apply warm compresses,Neosporin ointment and calamine lotion and avoid messing with it.You  can take anti-inflammatory pain killers like ibuprofen or acetaminophen. If the lumps persist then it will be best to get it evaluated from a dermatologist.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
