Bump

by 345medhelpFAN, May 15, 2005 12:00AM
I noticed about 6 days ago a small bump on my shaft, the underside that is dotted with some small cysts under the skin.  Of course I messed with it, I was able to get some clear fluid from it, but nothing white.  I was treated a few months ago for genital warts by my dermatologist.  I have not had a reoccurance and this does not look like the tiny bumps that were treated.  Plus I have never been able to squeeze anything out of a wart.   In any case, I tried to leave it alone, I put a little bit of neosporin on it since I did irriated it.

It is the diameter of a pencil eraser.  There is a bit of a pit or hole in the center.  Not sure if this is from my picking/squeezing or if this is its natural shape.  There was no hair, so I don't think it was a hair folicle that got infected or irritated.  But there are hair folicles around.

I used vinegar out of curisoity and it did turn a little white.  It just doesn't look like the warts I had or any wart I know of. It is also more or mainly originating from just under the skin.

Thoughts?  THANKS

I think it's a cyst, not a wart.  A drained cyst would have a pit, a wart would not.  Please leave it alone and show it to a doctor, so you can find out for sure and then forget about it.

Best.

I haven't been with anyone sexually in 6 months.  Only reason I say this is to let u know I have been tested for herpes, hiv, etc, and have not been with anyone since those tests.  best.

Oh, I can feel like a slight lump under the site as well.  I can't remember if that was there or if I caused something from squeezing.  best.
