Bumps on Penis

I noticed on Monday of last week that I had three small bumps around the head of penis.  They are in one spot and very small.  While i was showering on following sunday they popped and developed a scab and are almost completely gone.  They have not caused me any discomfort.  I have had no other symptoms at all.  I have been with the same girl for almost six years now and have never had anything like this happen. we did go for a walk with our dog and I wore long johns without any underwear and i didn't know if that could have caused anything.  what could they be?

Please, could you describe those “small bumps” (color, texture, shape, firmness, etc.)? Also, how long did it take for lesions to resolve from тхе first day you хад noticed them? Any risk factors worth mentioning?
Any diagnostic tests performed?
