Bumps on arms

Bumps on arms

I have had keratosis pilaris on the back of my upper arms since I was a child, but recently I had a son and suddenly there seems to be an additional skin condition.  I have larger non itchy bumps that covering the front of my arms down past my elbow?  What are they and how can I get rid of them?

To be honest, I don't know.  Some types of warts can affect the arms, but it sounds like the bumps you have are symmetrical.  I think you'll need to show them to someone.

Sorry.

i have had keratosis pilaris for the past 6 years.  It developed around the age of 14.  I have read hundreds of answers and a lot of people say they do not get many good results with creams.  The retin a seems to reduce the redness and smooth but can be somewhat irritating. I also heard of too much vitamin A? the lac hydrin helps also.  Sun light seems to be very effective. I would like to know if glycolic acid peels and laser resurfaceing help at all.  Also, do dermatologist even look for cures or better treatments...it always seems as if it is no big deal to them...they would think it was a big deal if they had it.

I have keratosis pilaris since I've been a small child.  I am now 20, and using Lac-Hydrin 12% in the morning, and Differin gel at night.  This finally seems to be working.  Good luck. :)
