Bumps on bikini area

So im 15 and i like a clean area down there. well on the my bikini i like it extra clean for bikini season so i shave in both directions up and down. well i got this bump before that i didnt know what it was and one day it was pussing and then it just poped and went away so i did nothing about it. then about a year ago i got another one on the other side and it is still there it is a little tender and red. and it looks like its has a lot of put in it but i dont know. and i hate seeing doctors for reasons like that cause i have a new doctor and its uncomfortable. is there anything else i can do to get rid of it. i believe it may be infected but i want to use tthe doctor as the last resort.

How are you? With your history of shaving, this could be an inflamed hair follicle or folliculitis. This usually resolve on its own but it may persist if it is infected. It is important to  keep the area clean and dry. Avoid manipulating or popping the bump to prevent further secondary infection. Antibacterial soaps and ointments may help. However, if it persists, have this evaluated further for proper management.
