Bumps on chest/stomach, acne? Ingrown hair? Other?

The above pictures are of my chest, and this is what I'm not sure if it's acne or not. What you're looking at are the bumps on my chest/stomach. If you can see a few of them, just know that there are a lot more. They are skin color and do not have heads.
I did successfully "pop" 3 of them and a long string of cheese-like pus came out along with a hair, and then some liquid white pus for a little bit for each one. (Maybe ingrown hair?)
I've tried a benzoyl peroxide face wash for a week and also a salicylic acid face wash for a few days but saw no change. So then I stopped using the washes and tried a benzoyl on-spot treatment once a day for 3 days. And like the washes, also tried a salicylic acid on-spot treatment for a few days.
After all that I see extremely little change.
It's possible for me to go to my pediatrics maybe, but no time/money for a dermatologist, vacation and then leaving for school soon.
Bonus question: I have bumps on my nose that used to be pimples, but I guess I popped them incorrectly and now they're just bumps. But this was about a year and a half ago. Not sure what to do with these.
