Bumps on feet

Bumps on feet

My daughter showed me a small hard bump onm the ball of her foot about 2 weeks ago, I thought it was a splinter trying to fester its way out. But since then it has started to cause her more pain and nothing seems to be in it and now there is one that has come up on her big toe and also one on her middle finger. She says they hurt as if they are a splinter but with more of them showing up I no longer beleive they are a splinter. She is 13 years old and very active with tennis and swimming, she also just recently got her first pedicure and manicure which scares me that maybe she contracted something while getting those. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
Thank You

Hello,
It can be due to hands, foot and mouth disease, bullous tinea, herpetic whitlow caused by herpes virus or a friction blister. Bullous tiena is caused by a fungal infection which is common after using the locker rooms and swimming pools. I suggest you to consult a dermatologist and get it evaluated.
It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your dermatologist. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
