Bumps on genitals, Itch

Hiya Doc.

First, I too have the scrotum itch problem.  There is no rash.  Started on left side; ignored it. Over the month has spread to the right.  I visited the doctor previously, she said 'If there is no rash, I can't tell you what it is'.  It has slowly gotton worse.  The only rash is from me scratching.  Cuz im dyin =/  Reading through forum, I think I'll start with the hydrocortizone cream, and check for reply.

Secondly, and worse

I have small dark purple/brown bumps on the shaft of my penis, and scrotum.  I've been tested for the whole list my local health center had available.  Nothing was positive.  Local doctor not very determined to help;  they test for something, it comes out negative, they don't call.

grrrrr.

I've seen pics of herpes etc, those are many clumped together.  Nothing I've seen pics for matches mine.  pics look much worse

This is "one here... one there".  Maybe 3-5 total at any one time.

The don't hurt/itch/bother me at all.  They are poppable (bit of blood, not pleasent to do) then they heal and go away. But more appear here and there.

Not like a pimple; they dont pop themselves.  Not like an ingrown hair... not that many anyway

Thought maybe soap irritation but haven't gone away.

Tried ignoring it hoping they'd stop.

I've been good, for the last year or so.  Had one partner.

Not an STD.  Probably irritation/eczema.  Treatment: gentle cleansing, moisturizing, mild steroid creams.  The small dark spots are very likely angiofibromas, benign growth seen on the scrotum.  Popping them does you no good and isn't necessary.  It would be worth your seeing a dermatologist.  One visit should straighten you out, diagnosis- and therapy-wise.

Take care.

Forgot to mention, when itching started, I was on antibotics.  Reading the med info, says can make you prone to yeast infections, esp if scratching.  Possible could have a yeast infection?  How could I know?

Possibly molluscum or folliculitis. Folliculitis would have a hair growing out of the centre of the spot. Molluscum does not and may have a small dimple in the centre if the lesion is more than 2mm in diameter. Showing it to a doctor is the only way to know for sure.
