Bumps?

Bumps?

About twice a year I have a small flesh colored bump that appears on vulva, labia . It appears in a different area each time. There is only one, I never know its there till I shower and I feel it and see it. There is never any pain with it. Sometimes there is itching but not around bump. It seems to swell a little and then go to a small pimple with a white tip and disappear in about 3 to 4 weeks. It doesn't bust or puss up or scab over. It just disappears. Anywhere from 6 to 11 months later another single bump appears in a different place on vulva, labia area and does the same as previous bump. This has been going on for a few years. My Questions are: Is this a normal body development? I am 42 years old. Could it be clogged pores or follicles in this area? Is this a form of a disease that could be passed to someone else like an STD? It never worrys me till I feel it and see it. Should I be worried? Please help me with this problem. Thank you for this web sight and your insight. Starting to worry. What is this?

I can't think of any STD that would look like this.  It sounds like a follicle or clogged pore.  You should have your doctor see it when it's there, if you haven't already done so.  Meantime, don't squeeze or rub it so the doctor can tell.

Take care.
