Burn Skin and Itching Skin

Dear Friends,

I have a small condition to report and would like some opinions. So I am living in London now, have been sexually inactive for a while. But since started wearing suits (business suits) - so I guess tight pants, I have had burn sensations on the bottom on my scrotum reaching under the taint, but not in the anus.

The sensation is very itchy, the more I scratch the more it itches. It is red and it has been going on for 1.5 months now. And because of all the itching, the area is now peeling, so dead skin is falling off. What condition might this be? Should I keep it moist? Or dry it with baby powder and see?

Any help would be appreciated, but it itches and burns a lot. Is it something bad?

Thanks,

Jonathan

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hi there!
Itching in scrotum could be caused due to any infection, strong chemicals and allergies. There is excessive sweating in this area which causes bacterial build up and infection. Lack of exposure to air due to tight undergarments leads to excess moisture and more and more bacteria thriving in. Maintain good hygiene. Keep your nails trimmed to avoid cutting of the skin while scratching. If the symptoms are severe consult a doctor. I do hope it helps.
Best luck!
