Burned scalp

i HAVE BURNED MY SCALP AS A KID. HOT oil poured on my head. i have a scar and on a part of my head hair will not grow back all the pores are closed and i have a big scar. i wonder if there is a way to treat that, if i do a hair transplant for example will it grow back? if not what can i do

Hair transplantation can be used in people who have burn scars on their scalp but this depends on the area involved and the extent of damage.

Scalp expansion, scalp flaps and scalp reduction are alternative surgical approaches to consider. They may be a treatment of choice when a scarred area is large and cannot be reduced in size for hair transplantation. You can consult a trichologist and discuss it with him.
