Burning Penile Skin

Hi,

I am a 26 year old male, and a little over a month ago I had protected sex with a girl.  Had been stressed out for a long time prior to that and could not keep an errection.  So we mostly just dry humped and moved on.  Feeling like something was really wrong with me I went home and masterbated for a while just to make sure everything still work.  It took me a while, but I was fine and just realted it to stress.  We had the "talk" before hand and she told me she was clean, not giving me any reason to doubt her.  I told her that I could possibly have HPV as an ex-gf of mine told me she tested possative.  Well, three days later the tip of my penis strated to have a burning sensation.  It never hurt to touch, but would be very sensative to wearing undwear.  I saw two urologists in the following two weeks, who both said I looked healthy and fine, but to just watch it.  I have tried Hydrocortizone cream, Lamasil cream, and I was even on a 10 day dose of Dyoxiciclin.  The lamasil was the latest and seemed to help the best.  I used it for two weeks and I was able to wear underware again, but I would still have the burning sensation.

In this time frame there were two times that I went drinking and the next day, it burned really bad.  It felt like it spread from my head to the shaft and then began creeping on my scrotum.  It has been over a month, and still no visable signs of anything, just the burning sensation.  The only thing I have noticed is that the head of my penis seems to have some red blochyness when I squeeze it.  Nothing raised of open sores or painful to touch.

I am really at my wits end, not knowing what this could be. Please help !?!?!

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
From your symptoms the possibility of neuropathy is important to be ruled out. The other possibility is of friction rub or chafing skin which can cause soreness and redness of skin. Neuropathy is common in diabetes, hypothyroidism, and hypoparathyroidism. It can also be due to vitamin B12 deficiency or malnutrition.

Get your blood sugar and thyroid hormones levels evaluated. You can take some vit B12 for some days and see if the symptoms are gone or not.

In case the symptoms persist then please consult a neurologist as it can be due to some neurological disorder.
It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
