Burning and secretions from penis

Anyone have a clue???So it has been over a year now and I have had this constant recurring problem on my genitals. I have been checked three different times from the initial onset of this situation for all serious STD's with no positive results. (herpes, syphilis, gonorrhea)

I have what seems to be constant discomfort in my crotch. My penis and scrotum seem to always be burning. There is a red mark that always appears in the same spot from scrotum to penis head.  It occasionally gets worse with some sharp pain.  After serious contact there is dry skin to be found on the penis shaft. Also every once in a while I can find that there what looks like a little pimple on the head of my penis that never scabs over.

The part that worries me the most is that I will also have a clear, sticky, secretion that comes from my penis. It does not last long and does not burn when I urinate at all. This is also not constant but comes and goes.

What the heck could this be??? I have been told to just wear a condom and that it should go away some day.

Could this be some type of bacterial infection or male version of a yeast infection????? I'll try anything!

I need some serious help as I am going to go insane rather soon. I am getting into a serious relationship and would like to be able to take the next step in having sex but am afraid to with this condition.  Thanks for any advice you might have.

No I have not been looked at along those lines at all. Should I visit a dermatologist first or go to a general practice to have that sort of thing done?????

If this is not bacterial but viral, is there a chance of getting rid of it????

Your help is very much appreciated.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hi.

You have had this for quite some time already. As this is considered to be something chronic this may be a case of allergic or contact dermatitis. An allergic reaction or dermatitic skin condition may be differentials here. Given a clear discharge, an infection may not be ruled out yet but if present this is not likely to be bacterial in nature.

I suggest you have this discharge cultured. If scaling is present on the skin, you may have these scales evaluated microscopically so you may be able to ascertain that a fungal infection is present.

Have you been assessed along this line?
