Can Eczema appear later in life?

by baggio10, Jan 07, 2009 10:06PM
I've had sensitive skin for my entire life, but this year I've noticed that I've developed Eczema under my left arm pit on two seperate occassions this year.  The first time was during the Spring, where it lasted about a month (didn't use any type of cream on it), and the second time was at around mid-November where hte exact same rash in the exact same area appeared again.  This time I used a cortizone cream to treat the rash instead of just waiting it out, and the cream worked relatively well.  I'm just wondering if it's common for people to notice their first case of eczema later on in life (in their 20's for example)?

Thanks!
