Can I Add Sunblock To My Lotion?

by spinetwister, Jun 30, 2009 08:07PM
Can I add sunblock to my lotion and will it be effective? I heard it dilutes the sunblock. I would like at least the amount of an SPF 30. So, what if I just use an even higher SPF like 50-70 to half a bottle of lotion, will that make up for the dilution? I know there are lotions with sunblock, but I personally like the moisturizing effects of my favorite lotion.
