Can not determine cause for petechiae

Can not determine cause for petechiae

Good afternoon,

I have been diagnosed with both petechiae and cherry angiomas (which I keep finding new ones almost everyday) and have seen a ton of doctors (primary care, internist, ER, hematologist, dermatologist) trying to figure out what is going on with me. I am in complete fear that something is being overlooked and I just dont know what else to do at this point.  My petechiae is sparse and appears scattered all over (including mouth on occasion).  New dots pops up each day just as fast as the others go away.  This has been going on for three months now (everyday!) and I have seen only one cluster outbreak (on my shoulder after returning from the gym).  The past few days I have started seeing ones that blanch so i am assuming these are cherry angiomas but Im just concerned that these are happening all of a sudden. This was not going on three months ago.  All of the doctors have not been concerned and have run tests on my request (including CBC, ANA, platelet function, virus tests such as hepatitis panel and Epstein-Barr, Von Wildeband (spelled wrong, Im sure), and a few others).  The hematologist  said that she was not concerned about leukemia or internal malignancies and that the autoimmune tests she ran came back negative (she did mention this is not her area of expertise though).  These things are just ruining my life and I am in constant fear.  Any suggestions on other thigs to check or if anyone has this sort of thing happen to them it woudl be reassuring to hear from someone.  I just feel like there has got to be something causing this.

Thanks for your time!

Hello,
Petechiae are pinpoint-sized red dots under the surface of the skin. They are common after skin trauma and viral infections. Please consult a physician and get other causes ruled out which include allergic reaction, autoimmune diseases( already ruled out), thrombocytopenia, ITP or leukemias.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your dermatologist. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are
