Is the a cure or effective treatment for (Seborrheic Dermatitis) in the face? I had really nice even skin and while i was attending college in California, this red itchy flaky patches appeared on my face. I thought it might be a reaction to all he pestisides in the air, since iwas located in Fresno which is central Cal where most agriculture takes place.... As i noticed it would get better with antibacterial soap or moisturisers, i began to thing it could be something cause by all the sweat and dirt that a was in contact with, since i was playing football for the college. i been fighting this on and off for almost 2 years, and ive tried a few recomended solutions by people and dermatologist but nothing seems to work, it just relieves the problem. It is extremely frustating, specially when peolple ask you if you got sunburns in your face all the time. Even my family has started to look at me weird. Can someone please, Help me?

Though it does appear that you indeed have seborrheic dermatitis, it would still be better that you confirm the diagnoses by visiting another doctor and taking a new opinion.
If it is seborrheic dermatitis surely then can you please answer the following questions:
Q. what treatment in detail have you taken till date?
Q. has this included any shampoos?
Q. has this also included any steroid application?
Q. are you undergoing severe stress?
Q. do you have any other kind of allergy or sensitivity to any substances?
Q. do you have any other disease or disorder of any kind?
Q. do you have a family history of this condition or any other skin condition?
please let us know the answers to these questions to help you better.
