Can someone please help me! My Six month old baby boy has Seborrhea all over his body

Can someone please help me! My Six month old baby boy has Seborrhea all over his body( neck, arms, face, tummy, and legs) I've tried just about everything I can get my hands on including cortizone cream's, steroid cream's, oatmeal lotions, Eucerin creams, various Eczema creams and more... He's seen a dermatologist and they just keep upping the dosage of the steriod creams, but now thats not even working. I know he's in pain all the time,he cry's all day(when he cry's hard a liquid oozes from the red rashes on his cheeks and legs and arms), he cant sleep through the night and he's constantly scratching his self and causing deep bleeding, I want so bad to comfort him but I dont know what to do? Please, please give me advice! Next month the doctors doing a biopsy and I'm so afraid for him, I want him to feel as less pain as possible!

Basing on the symptoms you stated its rather a bit confusing because there are a lot diseases that present up with these symptoms. If the symptoms does not subside with eczema creams then it could be Psoriasis(Guttate-involving extremities) or scalp Psoriasis.Diagnosis of Psoriasis is based on clinical presentation of disease. The other diseases like atopic or contact dermatitis, impetigo which are very common in children must be ruled out.So meet a dermatologist and talk about Psoriasis.Seborrhic dermatitis is often associated with psoriasis is presented with certain symptoms you stated. So discuss these things with your Doc and let it be confirmed.Keep me updated and let me about specific treatment for the problem.

as Vedadhar said those symptoms match with multiple diseases. Most likely your not going to be able to do anything until the biopsy is done.

I hope you update about this, and maybe you can see if they can get him in sooner for the biopsy.

The diagnosis of  certain dermatological diseases needs to be confirmed on the basis of many lab tests for microbial involvement and to differentiate the presenting clinical symptoms like macule, papule, rashes, scales, crusts etc.So meet your Doc and let the child be examined carefully to rule out the possible culprit causing the problem. If he could come up with certain conclusion we will be able to assist you with the required management. If you have certain doubts regarding any lab tests or reports and also in professional terms used by the Doc we would able to help you.Do keep us updated.
