Cancer?

hi,
I just found out that I have this painful mole that started hurting again today and was worried. I first thought it was a pimple of some sort then took a picture to realize that it was a mole, its some what protruding. here is a link for the picture if someone can help me please.

Hello,
From the picture,it does not look like a mole but confirmation can be done only after a dermatologist’s examination and biopsy. If you notice changes in the mole's color, height, size or shape, you should have a dermatologist evaluate it. You also should have moles checked if they bleed, ooze, itch, appear scaly, or become tender or painful.Melanoma has to be ruled out.
