Cherry Angioma on an infant

by sistersunrise, Mar 26, 2008 09:45PM
Dear Doctor,

My granddaughter is only six months old and has a cherry angioma on top of her little soft spot. She has had an MRI and it is not affecting her brain at all. My daughter wants to have it reduced and removed. The doctor she is seeing says the best thing would be steroid treatment.  Is this more dangerous than the angioma itself?  Can it hurt her?
