I am 21 years old and just got the chicken pox, i am so scared that they will scar my face.I have not itched them at all, does that matter when it comes to scarring, or do they scar no matter what. they are blistered pretty bad on my face, is there anything i can use now, while they are still blistered to prevent the scarring please help, my face was always so clear before this

Hello,
The lesions that you have described sounds like scars with post inflammatory hyperpigmentation. The treatment for post inflammatory hyperpigmentation includes various skin creams like hydroquinone, azelaic acid, corticosteroids, tretinoin cream and laser treatment.Apply hydroquinone cream on the scars and it should go away in a few days to months. If they still persist then you can go in for laser treatment, Chemical peeling or microdermabrasion. Avoid picking, harsh scrubbing, and abrasive treatments unless prescribed by a dermatologist during this period.

I hope it helps.Take care and pls do keep me posted on how you are doing or if you have any additional doubts.Kind regards.
