Chickenpox scars and pits

Chickenpox scars and pits

Are the chickenpox scars and pits permanent.

I had chickenpox 3 weeks ago at the age of 24.

The lesions have crusted and fallen off.
Some pits(not very deep ) and scars have come up on my face.

Somebody advised me to apply Momate (momatesone Furoate)and Alevora( a mixture of alovera and Vitamin E ) on the scars daily. Please adivizse whether this is the right treatment.

Please let me know if the scars and the pits are curable by ointments etc.(apart from plastic surgery...as i may niot be able to afford the same) and whether they are permanent.

Please  advise some medications

Thanks

After 3 weeks, it is much too early to tell whether the pits you see are permanent.  They may indeed fill in completely all by themselves.  Although some people swear by Vitamin E or Mederma creams (both over the counter), the best I can say about them is that they're harmless.

There's one other thing you may want to look into: laser resurfacing.  If scars are peeled superficially with a laser very shortly after they start--such as n your situation--they may heal  better.  I'm honestly not certain this will help, or be necessary, but it isn't a large or risky procedure and nnedne;t therefore be too costly.  You might therefore want to look into a dermatologist in your area who performs laser resurfacing and ask for a consultation.

Best.
