Childs hair greying

by RailroadScott, Aug 28, 2009 07:41AM
Approximately 7 days ago my wife and I noticed that my 6 year old son's hair had a "burnt" smell to it.  The odor is very strong.  Washing his hair has no effect.  We changed the shampoo we were using on him with no change in the condition.  Additionally, his hair is starting to lighten in color and almost appears grey in the temple area and in the back of the head..
Other than his first bee sting, we can think of no changes in his life.  His diet remains the same.  We did purchase a new bedroom set for him at about this time but he is still using the same matress, pillows, and bedding.
